2. INTERVIEW WITH XCHANGE BRIDGE

3. HOST EMPLOYER INTERVIEW

We partner with you to prepare you for an interview with a Host employer that meets your career goals.

4. VISA PROCESS

The J-1 visa program can be overwhelming, but not with Xchange Bridge by your side. We guide you through every step, assisting you with all necessary documentation and preparing you thoroughly for your interview at the US Embassy.

Who is eligible?

Internship

To participate in this program you must be studying or have recently completed an advanced university or associate degree. If you have completed your degree, the internship must begin within one year of the completion of your degree.

Program Duration: up to 12 months maximum.

Trainee

Graduates with at least one year of work experience in an area related to their field of study. Also included in this category are those people who do not have a university or associate degree but can demonstrate 5 years or more of work experience.

Program Duration: up to 18 months maximum (in Hospitality and Tourism up to 12 months).

Participant Profile

Must be between 18 and 35 years old (ideally between 20-30 years old)
Intermediate to advanced English fluency level
Demonstrate an interest in the program in order to enhance your resume and gain experience in your profession.

Total price $3,800 USD

The program does not include the payment of the Sevis Fee ($220 USD) or the cost of the visa ($185 USD), which are subject to change without prior notice.

Looking for your own job

The stand alone option is ideal if:

You already have your own USA contacts
You prefer to look for a job in the USA on your own
You already have a job offer in the USA.

We will complete the requirements to obtain your DS-2019.

The Independent Option includes:

FREE English Proficiency Assessment
Orientation prior to travel to the USA.
Form DS 2019 application process Visa J1 Bridge USA
Travel medical insurance with additional coverage for skiing and snowboarding.
Assistance in obtaining a Social Security Number (SSN), required for employment in the USA.
Advice on filing tax forms upon completion of your program.

What is not included?

Visa processing before the US Consulate ($185 USD + $220 USD).
Airfare – We offer you convenient student rates if you are interested.
Transfers to the place of employment.
Meals and accommodations.
